Tan Soon Meng has been an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore since 1990. He is a corporate trainer who facilitates courses in critical thinking, contract law, project management, contract management and business analysis, among others, for government agencies and international corporations. He has taught business law, including contract law, at institutions such as SIM, PSB Academy, Marketing Institute of Singapore and Temasek Polytechnic. He has also taught courses in criminal law for the SPF, ICA and MOM.
Those who have attended his training include staff from: Keysight Technologies, Korn Ferry, BMW, Shell, Volkswagen, AIG, HSBC, the China Nuclear Power Engineering Company, Edwards Lifesciences, DBS Bank and the Sumitomo-Mitsui Banking Corporation.
Soon Meng has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University, USA, and a Second Upper Honours law degree from the National University of Singapore. He has practiced law with Rodyk & Davidson, Allen & Gledhill and Ong Ying Ping, Esq. and is the author of Contract Smart, a book on contract law for the layman, published by Marshall Cavendish.
