Enforcement Officer (Ad-Hoc)

Workplace Health & Safety Inspector

  • Communicate safety policies, procedures and legal requirements
  • Advise on Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) matters.
  • Ensure policies and practices are effectively implemented.
  • Report identified hazards and conduct audits and inspections to identify workplace risks and unsafe work practices.

 

  • WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health will be required
  • A recognized degree/diploma in engineering will be advantageous.
  • At least 1 years’ of relevant working experience in Workplace Safety and Health
  • Effective communication skills including verbal presentation, technical writing skills.
RC Safe Distancing Ambassador

  • Ensuring that visitors to recreation centres comply with prevailing safe distancing and safe management measures.
  • Recording personal particulars, such as Name/NRIC/FIN, of any persons found repeatedly or persistently breaching safe distancing measures and refusing to comply despite reminders, at the deployment locations/facilities.
  • Assisting in directing the movement of persons within the deployment sites or other location, to ensure that safe distancing and management measures can be complied with.
  • Assisting in reminding visitors when it is time for them to leave, as necessary.
  • Responding to any law and order situation.
  • Any other admin duties.

 

  • Conversant in English
  • Pleasant disposition and comfortable working with foreigners
  • Able to be assertive when required while remaining polite
  • Medically and physically fit to stand for hours

 

AAO Associate Assessor

As POLWEL AAO Assessor, your role is to conduct assessments under the Security Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) framework. You should possess the following requirements:

  • Minimum WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA) or WSQ Advance Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP)
  • WSQ Diploma in Security Management and/or WSQ Diploma in Adult & Continuing Education (DACE) will be advantageous
  • Relevant working experience in the security industry (former / retired Singapore Police Force (SPF) Officers or Home Team Officers are encouraged to apply)
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Good communication skills and disposition with ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds
