In 2005, POLWEL started providing employment services with the objective of offering employment opportunities for retired police officers by tapping on their specialist skills and knowledge. The job placements have enabled these officers to gain meaningful employment and earn an income during their retirement years.
Over the years, the service provided by POLWEL evolved into supplying of manpower resources for a wide range of positions. The employment support was also extended to retired officers from other Home Team Departments. Some of the manpower contracts managed by POLWEL include the following job functions:

Rendering of career transition support
In addition to providing employment opportunities for SPF and Home Team officers, POLWEL has taken on an expanded role of collaborating with the relevant stakeholders to provide career transition support services targeted at the retiring officers to assist them in their second career transition.
Besides engaging officers with SPF affiliation, POLWEL has expanded its pool of manpower resources to include retired or former officers from other Home Team Departments to support the rapid growth of its business portfolio.
