POLWEL was appointed by the Centre for Protective Security (CPS), Singapore Police Force (SPF) to administer the online Refresher Quiz for Security Officers in the Private Security Industry who are seeking to renew their Security Officer licence. The quiz aims to keep Security Officers’ knowledge of the Private Security Industry current.

Security Officers whose licence expires on or after 1 January 2024 are required to attempt and pass the quiz before they can proceed to renew their security licence.  In preparation for the quiz, Security Officers can access the learning resources here and attempt the quiz at their own convenience. The quiz comprises of multiple-choice questions and the result would be made known to the Security Officer immediately after the completion of the quiz. Security Officers are allowed multiple attempts for a year at no cost till their first pass result.

Note: The result of the refresher quiz is valid for one (1) year. For the purpose of Security Officer licence renewal, you should only attempt the refresher quiz if your Security Officer licence expires in less than one (1) year.
