Being an affiliate of the Singapore Police Force, POLWEL is able to tap on its pool of retired or former Police or Home Team officers whose specialist skills and experience have provided value-add to the service delivery.
A key project managed by POLWEL is the provision of inspection and related services under the WorkRight Initiative by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Central Provident Fund Board (CPFB). In 2015, the WorkRight initiative won first place in the United Nations Public Service Awards (UNPSA) in the category of “Promoting Whole of Government Approaches in the Information Age” for the Asia-Pacific Region. POLWEL is proud to be part of the Singapore delegation to receive the award at the UNPSA event held in Medellin, Colombia.
