Profile
Whistine is a Principal Psychologist recognised as a leading voice in forensic and cyber psychology. With over 17 years of public service in Singapore’s Home Team and social sector, she has led specialised teams in the Ministry of Home Affairs and contributed nationally through the Inter-Ministry Committee on Scams (IMCS) and the Inter-Agency Scam Taskforce, shaping cross-agency strategies to combat scams and online harms. She also spearheaded the National Prevalence Survey of Scams during her tenure as Senior Assistant Director at the Home Team Behavioural Sciences Centre.
An established specialist in cybercrime and human risk, she is the co-editor of Introduction to Cyber Forensic Psychology and has authored multiple publications on scams and cybercrime. She also developed and leads the Cybercrime module at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), where she lectures and supervises students in forensic and cyber psychology.
