  POLWEL BUSINESS & EMPLOYMENT SERVICES DIVISION
   

POLWEL Business & Employment Services Division (BESD) was set up in 2005 with the objective of offering employment services to retired officers from the Singapore Police Force and other Home Team Departments by tapping on their specialist skills and knowledge. The employment opportunities enabled these officers to gain meaningful employment and earn an income during their retirement years.

Over the years, the scope of strategic support services provided by BESD has evolved into providing manpower solutions in different areas of expertise as well as offering a wide range of business services such as project management, consultancy and auditing, and training.

     
  POLWEL APPROVED ASSESSMENT ORGANISATION
   

POLWEL was appointed by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) as an Approved Assessment Organisation (AAO) under the Security Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) framework in 2006. Prior to that, POLWEL also served as the Assessment Centre for the security industry under the National Skills Recognition System (NSRS).

As an independent assessment body for the industry, POLWEL AAO conducts more than 20,000 Security WSQ assessments each year to certify the competency of candidates trained by the various Approved Training Organisations (ATOs).
